As an LTL Specialist, you will manage and improve our LTL freight network, working with carriers and internal teams to optimize costs, monitor performance, resolve service issues and ensure on-time delivery. 

Your profile

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree or professional certification preferred
• 5+ years of logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or related industry experience
• Strong customer service experience
• Understanding of freight forwarding processes, regulations, and operations
• Proficiency in Excel, CargoWise, SAP, and related sytems
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and accountable
• Strong communication and problem solving skills 
• Ability to manage muliple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Results-driven with strong attention to detail
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

Your Duties

• Manage and optimize LTL operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and customer-focused transportation solutions
• Build and maintain strong carrier relationships, oversee carrier procurement, and negotiate competitive rates
• Coordinate daily LTL shipments, including carrier selection, scheduling, tracking, and delivery
• Analyze freight costs, transit times, and service levels to recommend optimal transportation solutions
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, and Accounting teams to ensure seamless shipment execution
• Process and maintain accurate transportation documentation, shipment records, and customer invoices
• Audit freight invoices, resolve billing discrepancies, and dispute carrier charges when necessary
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, company policies, SOPs, and quality standards
• Provide prompt, professional customer service support via phone and email
• Participate in weekend coverage rotations as needed
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
