Your profile
- You like to assume responsibility, offering our customers top-quality service
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Appropriate management of customer communication and adhering to GW Financial and Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and Standard SOP's
- Maintain accurate records of entries and correspondance in compliance with CBP audit
- You have completed a business training course, ideally you have gathered some experience in handling customs matters and/or in the field of freight forwarding, you are able to use different information and communication tools, and you don’t mind making yourself familiar with new ones
Your Duties
- Prepare and submit customs entries for air, ocean, and ground shipments in accordance with CBP regulations
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth import operations
- Stay current on changes in customs regulations, trade agreements, and compliance requirement
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and government agencies to resolve documentation or compliance issues
- Track shipments and ensure timely release and delivery of goods
- Classify goods using Harmonized Tariff Schedule and ensure accurate duty and tax compliance
- Perform all other additional duties as assigned by management on a day-to-day basis
