Your Responsibilities
- Process air and ocean import shipments in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain accurate shipment records, data entry, and shipping documentation, including airway bills, bills of lading and customs documents
- Coordinate and monitor shipments from arrival through final delivery, including cargo availability, customs clearance, transportation, warehousing amd proof of delivery
- Serve as a primary contact for customers, agents, carriers, truckers and warehouses regarding routine shipment activities
- Complete FMC, AMS, and ISF filings within required deadlines and ensure regulatory compliance
- Create invoices, prepare payment requests, verify shipment charges, and process accounts payable and receivable documentation for accounting
- Assist in resolving routine shipment, billing and documentation issues
- Participate in weekend coverage rotations
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager
