This position supports the coordination of air and ocean import shipments, ensuring timely delivery in accordance with customer requirements and company standards. The role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service through effective communication and collaboration with customers, carriers, vendors, and overseas partners and agents.

Your profile

  • High School Graduate. Bachelor's Degree is preferred  
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite Programs
  • Preferred 1+ year of industry related experience
  • Strong customer service background
  • Highly motivated and results driven
  • Outstanding communication
  • Work well under pressure and ability to multitask
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment

Your Responsibilities

  • Process air and ocean import shipments in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain accurate shipment records, data entry, and shipping documentation, including airway bills, bills of lading and customs documents
  • Coordinate and monitor shipments from arrival through final delivery, including cargo availability, customs clearance, transportation, warehousing amd proof of delivery
  • Serve as a primary contact for customers, agents, carriers, truckers and warehouses regarding routine shipment activities       
  • Complete FMC, AMS, and ISF filings within required deadlines and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Create invoices, prepare payment requests, verify shipment charges, and process accounts payable and receivable documentation for accounting
  • Assist in resolving routine shipment, billing and documentation issues
  • Participate in weekend coverage rotations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager
