Your Profile
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree or relevant certification preferred
- 2 to 5 years of freight forwarding, logistics, or related industry experience
- Proven success in business development, sales, and customer relationship management
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, products, and regulations
- Proficiency in CRM systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office application
- Results-driven and self-motivated
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Effective problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets consistently
Your Duties
- Generate new business opportunities while growing and maintaining existing customer accounts
- Build strong, long-term client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Develop and present competitive proposals, quotations, and pricing solutions
- Manage a designated sales territory and execute strategic business development plans
- Respond to sales inquiries, pursue leads, and convert opportunities into revenue
- Collaborate with branch leadership and global partners on sales initiatives, bids, and customer solutions
- Conduct customer visits, presentations, and joint sales calls to drive growth.
- Manage customer accounts and support successful onboarding and post-shipment follow-up
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards
- Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records within CRM systems
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
- Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and networking functions
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development activities
- This position will require regular travel outside of the place of business.
